My man Thiago “Pitbull” Alves of American Top Team won by unanimous decision lastnight beating John Howard. I spoke with Thiago after the fight and he said he felt like he was 18 and that he could go a few more rounds. I’m proud of him and wanted to post a little “congrats!”

My good buddy and MMA fighter Thiago “Pitbull” Alves from American Top Team came down to South Beach on Saturday for a light sparring session. The last time he was down I was tattooing him. He’s a pro fighter who’s fought top level guys like George St. Pierre, Matt Hughes and Josh Koscheck just to name a few.
I took a few good shots… and I’m not gonna lie my body is pretty sore today.

Fitch-Alves Rebooked for UFC 115
A previously postponed welterweight rematch between Jon Fitch and Thiago “Pitbull” Alves of American Top Team will now take place at UFC 115 on June 12 at the GM Place in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, according to a post made Sunday on UFC President Dana White’s Twitter account @danawhite
Thiago is a good buddy of mine. He stopped by the gym while I was sparring and gave me a couple pointers. Pretty good shape for an old man, eh!
