So I’ve decided to feature a different tattoo artist every few weeks.
There are so many guys out there, working hard and pushing the envelope.

Today I have the pleasure of introducing Vincent Moisdon.

- how long have you been tattooing?

I have been tattooing 12 years

-where did you get started?

I apprenticed under Eric Delrosal at Bulldog Tattoo Parlor, Ft. Lauderdale Beach

- where are you currently working?

I work at Colorfast Studios in Coral Springs, FL

- do you have a preference as far as style of tattooing? And what won’t you do?

I prefer to do Japanese influenced subject matter, but I will do whatever the client wants. Although, I will definitely try to guide them in the right direction. I hate doing portraits, but I do them under protest.

- do you find time to travel? And if so where do you visit?

I dont travel as much as I would like, but I just recently came back from France and the month before that I guess spotted at Inksmith & Rogers, Jacksonville, FL

- are you currently taking appointment . And if so how often do you tattoo?

I am taking appointments, but have about 4 month waiting list. I tattoo 5 days a week.

- who do you look up to in the tattoo industry? Who and what inspires you?

There are so many great tattooers that inspire me, but a few that I follow often are Chris Garver, Federico Ferroni, Henning Jorgenson, Chris O’donnell, Mike Rubendall, Shige, Filip Leu, Ichibay, Horiyoshi 3, Horitomo, Jeremy Swed, Peter Lagergren, Grime, etc…I could go on for days. I am inspried by people who have a good work ethic and are driven to create art. People like Thomas Asher, Phil Szlosek, and Jesse Gordon whom are constantly painting drawing and producing art keep me inspired. They make me want to be more productive.

-do you do any other forms of art? any hobbies?

I like to paint in oils and watercolor, although I havent done any oil paintings in quite some time.
To unwind and clear my head I like to go cycling. I try and get a couple long rides in a week. Sometimes I go mountain bike riding, but I usually stick to the road.
